At 4,237 feet, Sugarloaf is the second tallest mountain in the state of Maine. The signature Snowfields are the only lift-serviced above-treeline terrain in the East. Sugarloaf features 1,240 acres of developed skiable, 162 skiable trails and glades, and boasts a 2,820ft vertical drop. The terrain is made up of 23% beginner, 34% intermediate, 27% expert, and 16% expert only runs, making the mountain skiable for all types of riders.
